The Bible contains numerous laws and principles to guide our lives, much like gravity, aerodynamics and electricity – laws which are immutable, indivisible and ineluctable – like marriage law. One such principle is marriage equality.
As Christians, it’s essential that we remember that marriage is God-ordained. When a couple marries, they form “one flesh”, an irrevocable union unlike any other human relationship. Being faithful to your partner means making time and space for your other half in every aspect of their life.

God holds marriage in high regard and requires no less of us than Him for its success and honoring it with each breath we take. Additionally, couples should never separate without good reason such as adultery or infidelity being present.
If there is conflict in your marriage, it is vital that it is resolved as quickly as possible before it escalates further. An angry and bitter spouse can have devastating effects on a marriage and must be avoided at all costs.
As Paul stated, unbelievers can be detrimental to both you and your marriage, since this will distract from their focus on Christ and ministry He has called them to. Additionally, this increases temptation and sin in your life.
