As you’ve probably heard, due to precautions with COVID-19, Omaha Public Schools have closed down (most likely until the end of the school year).
This means that families will have to provide breakfast and lunch for their kids that they weren’t planned for. In addition, there are other families that have been hit due to losing jobs or being put on furlough. BUT we can step up as the church and help immediately!
For the next month we will seek to provide breakfast and lunch for for families in need (one week worth of food to each family). The Empowerment Network split North Omaha up into “villages” to respond to the needs. Our church falls within “Village 7” and therefore we want to serve families in our village, community, and church.
Do you need some assistance?
For the month of April, here are two options to receive a one week worth of food for you and your children: (1) leave a voice mail at the church 402-522-6397 or (2) email email@example.com.
IMPORTANT: On the call or in your email, please leave your 1) full name, 2) address, 3) preferred drop-off time, and 4) number of children. We will deliver on Saturdays from 8:00-11:00am and Sundays from 1:00-4:00pm.
