What: Sunday School class beginning Dec. 9 during the 9:00 a.m. service.
Instructor: Dr. Tara Rye (Former Dean of Women, Grace University)
What does the Bible say about living, serving, and loving on the foreigner? Our culture is walking a heated debate on immigration. Do you find yourself struggling as people get political about people? What is the right response? Come join us as we seek God’s heart on how to come alongside to assist those who dwell among us. This is not intended to be a political class, but a Biblical discovery class. Each week we will ask how people in the Bible honored the ethics of hospitality that were prevalent in their day. Then we will ask ourselves hard questions that will help us strengthen our CQ (Cultural Intelligence) that will enable us to live, serve, and love better when we meet someone that is not “like me.”
To RSVP for the class please contact our Outreach Intern Arian Critchfield.
